Sometimes you just have to find an excuse to have a celebration.

On months that have five Sundays, we pick one of those Sundays to have a special Eucharist. We use a liturgy created by our own youth that draws from many different resources, and follows the traditional service with language that sounds the way you might hear ordinary people talking, telling stories with their friends. Most of this language was created by teens here at St Hilary's.

These celebrations give us an an opportunity to try new ways to celebrate God's love and to worship. Sometimes our experiments are more risky than others, yet they are all done to help us meet the unchanging God that loves us broken.

Whatever we do, God is here. We hope you will be here too. Maybe you will find a new way to think about or experience the God that is eternal and unchanging.
